2023 Saving Rhinos Event

An Evening to Benefit the International Rhino Foundation and CARE for WILD Rhino Sanctuary

Few events we’ve ever hosted have been more rewarding than our most recent “Saving Rhinos”. This was a first for Monterey Zoo as we shared our very confidential donor list with an alternative non-profit effort in an attempt to further their efforts to save an iconic species that is very near and dear to our hearts, rhinos. $105,000 was proudly and generously raised in one afternoon! ALL proceeds from this event went to International Rhino Foundation and CARE for WILD Rhino Sanctuary to benefit the rhinos of Africa and Indonesia.
